Finally got to see Watchmen last night i'd give it a 8 out of ten or maybe 7 and a half , so a good movie as good as a Hollyweird can get it I suspose. I've read the graphic novel a few times so I was familar with the character and story already I think screwing with the end wasn't such a smart idea though (The director should of got over his fear of squids ..it would of been more shocking and surreal)and Ronald Reagan instead of Robert Redford , to run for president seemed a bit odd to me ..but on the whole he didn't mess up the crux of the story stayed true to the original text and visuals as much as he could , the best Alan Moore adaptation of a movie so far (I actually liked V for Vendetta although Finch the detective should of looked more like the original character )Anyhow I hope Dave Gibbons (the artist who is left on the credits Moore wanted nothing to do with movie )buys Alan plenty of rounds of beer (or perhaps a fair bit of hashish if thats his thang )it's bound to make a tonne of money not sure your average non comic reading Joe will make of it though .. anyhow here's some pics of Carla Guigino who plays Sally Jupiter the original Silk Spectre in the film
