These originate pics from the generation before the Runaways, there's always been all girl garage bands adds some credibility to Kim Gordons T Shirt which states "Girls invented Punk Rock not The English". Alot of bands were formed in the 1960's many was option to avoid the draft and tour the country but your average all girl garage band would be flown over to Nam to entertain the troops , that would make a good basis for a movie I reckon .
Re "Three Pretty Kittens". I love seeing pictures from the 60's when flying was glamorous. People got dressed up to fly..cocktailing it & smoking on planes. Now it's misery.
ReplyDeletethey were heading for Vietnam I guess in first class .. i wish we still had Zeppelins (not to bomb any one) but to cruise the skies in luxury .Airships would be alternative to creating more jetstream..trouble with this age everyones in a hurry
